1. Internet: universal access for all
Right to knowledge
The pandemic is showing that generalized access to the Internet is no longer postponable.
The Italian Pirate Party proposes to include in the Constitution the right to internet coverage.
2. University: Abolition of the closed number for access to medical faculties
Right to health
The National Health System, historically created to prevent and fight diseases and to offer a widespread service on the territory, has long betrayed its mission.
Bent to a purely corporate logic, it has dragged medical faculties along the same drift.
The Italian Pirate Party proposes the abolition of the closed number for access to medical faculties and the consequent preparation of an adequate number of places for specializations.
3. Justice: direct election of the Prosecutors of the Republic
Right to justice
The Italian judicial system is not working. It is time to try something radically new that brings the management of justice closer to the will of the people.
The Italian Pirate Party proposes the direct election of the Prosecutors of the Republic, in order to protect the independence of the prosecution and, overcoming the inquisitorial system typical of totalitarian regimes, finally make it democratic.
